Disciplines


RPMH

4-H commonly groups the disciplines of Rifle, Pistol, Muzzleloading, and Hunting and Wildlife. We hold rifle and pistol practice on the first and third Saturdays of the month. Muzzleloading practice can also be held at this time with advance notice. Hunting and wildlife is commonly independent study, but programs can be arranged given enough interest.

Archery

Archery Practice is held on the second and fourth Saturday of the month. We typically hold archery practice an hour before Shotgun practice starts, on a neighboring field at the same shooting range location.

our EXPECTATIONS

Dress Code:
All disciplines require participants to wear a shirt with sleeves and fully enclosed shoes. Please keep the weather and family atmosphere of 4-H in mind when selecting clothing.
Behavior:
Follow all range commands, be on time, be respectful, clean up after yourself, get involved.
Eyes & Ears:
It is the shooter's responsibility to provide eye and ear protection, as applicable, at every event.
Shooter Responsibility:
When called to the firing line, it is the shooter's responsibility to come to the line prepared to shoot and familiar with range commands.
 
Safety:
Safety is everyone's job! Anyone on the range can call a cease fire. If you have a safety concern, please bring it to a coaches' attention immediately. 
Parents:
4-H is a family event. Parents or guardians are required to remain at practices and events with their child.
